This year's Shindagin All Trails Challenges are on gravel as well as MTB trails. Choose one or do both. The men's and women's fastest times for each will get a topographic map plaque with the route on it. A plaque will also be given at random to a rider that has completed the route. There is no entry fee. Ride either route as often as you want to improve your time. Challenges end September 30th.
The Gravel Route:
37 miles - 4,900' elevation gain.

The route starts and ends at the bottom dirt section of Bald Hill Rd. The best place to park is usually the Brooktondale Community Center. You may want to study the route on the computer beforehand especially if you don't plan to load it onto your bike computer. Loading the route onto your Garmin or other device is recommended, turn by turn directions make it much easier if you are not familiar with the area.
It's a long route, if for some reason your activity doesn't match up with the "Shindagin All Gravel Challenge 2026" Strava segment, just email it to me. GPS drift is pretty common in the woods. Devices like a Garmin mounted on your bike generally do better.
The MTB Route:
23.5 miles - 2,800' elevation gain.
